About Red Bull Ring

The Red Bull Ring is Austria’s flagship motorsport venue, located in Spielberg, Styria, in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Originally opened in 1969 as the Österreichring, the circuit was completely redesigned and modernised before reopening in 2011 under Red Bull ownership, instantly returning to the global motorsport spotlight. The 4.318 km (2.683 miles) layout features 10 corners and is defined by dramatic elevation changes, long uphill straights, heavy braking zones and technical downhill sections. Key corners include Niki Lauda Kurve, Remus, Schlossgold and Rindt, creating a circuit that rewards power, braking stability and traction. Red Bull Ring hosts the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix, MotoGP, DTM, GT World Challenge, historic racing, endurance events and a busy calendar of public car and motorcycle track days. With its spectacular Alpine backdrop, open run-off areas and modern facilities, it is one of the most visually striking and driver-friendly circuits in Europe.
