About Fuji Speedway

Fuji Speedway is one of the most iconic motorsport venues in Asia, located at the base of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Originally opened in 1965 and extensively redeveloped in 2005, the circuit is known for its dramatic setting, ultra-long main straight and modern FIA-approved facilities. The 4.563 km layout features 16 corners and one of the longest main straights in world motorsport, measuring approximately 1.475 km. This creates extreme top-speed conditions followed by heavy braking into Turn 1. The remainder of the lap combines high-speed sweepers, technical mid-speed corners and elevation changes. Fuji Speedway has hosted the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, FIA World Endurance Championship, Super GT, endurance racing, manufacturer testing and major national championships. Today it remains one of Japan’s most important venues for professional racing, track days, driving experiences and corporate motorsport events. The circuit’s location with Mount Fuji as a backdrop makes it one of the most visually striking race tracks in the world for competitors and motorsport photographers alike.
