Bedford Autodrome is a purpose-built motorsport and testing facility located in Bedfordshire, England. Opened in 2001 on the former RAF Thurleigh airfield, the circuit was designed with a strong focus on safety, flexibility and high-speed capability. It is now one of the UK’s most popular venues for track days, manufacturer testing, driver training and performance car development. The venue features one of the longest circuit layouts in the UK, with multiple configurations that can be run independently or combined. Bedford is particularly well known for its exceptionally wide run-off areas, making it especially suitable for novice and intermediate drivers as well as high-performance road cars. Unlike traditional UK race circuits, Bedford Autodrome was created specifically for driver development and testing rather than wheel-to-wheel racing. As a result, it offers excellent visibility, consistent asphalt quality and very low barrier proximity, creating a safe but fast-track environment. Bedford hosts car and motorcycle track days throughout the year, plus advanced driver training, corporate experiences and manufacturer evaluation programs. It is operated by MSV (MotorSport Vision), which also runs several other major UK circuits.
